Diethyltoluenediamine (DETDA) is an effective chain extender of polyurethane elastomer, particularly for RIM (reaction injection molding) and SPUA (Spray Polyurea Elastomer). It is also used as a curing agent of polyurethane and epoxy resin, antioxidant of epoxy resin, industrial oil and lubricants. In addition, it may be served as intermediates in organic synthesis.
