Ethynodiol Diacetate is the diacetate salt form of ethynodiol, a semi-synthetic progestational hormone agonist. Ethynodiol diacetate binds to cytoplasmic progesterone receptors in the reproductive system and subsequently activates progesterone receptor mediated gene expression.
